This project develops ressource management and ressource planing tools, suited to SME’s requirenments. Special 5G base stations will interact with devices. An AR-application integrated to a smart factory scenario will be tested and demonstrated.

Based on Microsofts HoloLens 2 NUROMEDIA develops an application to act as human-machine-interface. In a demonstration it will support engineer’s maintenance work. The augmented reality device will visualize data and recognize the affected machine. Manuals and instructions with augmented reality techniques will enable engineers to accomplish complex and unknown tasks. Further support will be provided. The AR device can also provide data to factory analytics components by sending or streaming them.

The 5G4Industry project was created within the grant-competition 5G.NRW and is founded by the ministry MWIDE of North Rhine-Westphalia.
